These magnificent tuna are sustainably caught and expertly cut by our tuna specialists in Fukuoka and Tokyo. The marbling and freshness of each piece will leave you speechless. They are simple to prepare as we send the in-loins and even easier to eat!
Our Tuna loin consists all 3 major parts of the Bluefin tuna, the O-toro, Chu-toro and Akami.
"Toro" is the fattier part of the Tuna. The belly of the tuna is where you find the "O-Toro", the fattiest part of the tuna.
"Chu-Toro" is the medium fatty part of the tuna, next to the Akami.
"Akami" is not as fatty as a Chu-toro or O-toro, but has a clean and smooth deep sea flavor.
Our freshly caught Bluefin tuna has a well-marbled white-pinkish colour with a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Season: 通年 (All Year)
Bluefin Tuna Loin block (mixture of Red, Fatty & Extra Fatty)
Texture: Ultra soft and melt in your mouth;
Taste: Sweet with heavy umami;
Colour: Highly marbled whitish-pink;
Weight: 4~5kg up; and
Recommended: sashimied and to be consumed within 1-2 days.
Bluefin Tuna Loin is best eaten with/as:
sushi, rolls, maki;
Do note: we do not provide slicing/processing services as our produce should be eaten immediately after it is sliced. This ensures freshness and prevents deterioration of quality.
