Our Frozen Hokkaido Sashimi Scallops, 2L size 1kg (16/21) are the finest Japan has to offer.  This size range is the biggest and often used at famous restaurants throughout the world! They are handpicked off the seas of Hokkaido, where the water is freezing cold and rich in nutrients. These scallops are extremely easy to eat, as they are all IQF you can eat them as an when you have the craving for them! Just defrost and eat!

To Defrost / To Store

    1. Leave in the fridge for 24 hours OR
    2. Leave under running water for 30min
    3. Do Not re-freeze after it has thawed and defrosted.
    4. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and consume within 5 days.

北海道野付沖で育ったほたては美味しさ抜群、そして驚くほどの大きさです。 鮮度を保った状態でお届けできるように、産地で水揚げしたばかりの生きたほたてから身を取りはずし、貝柱のみを取り出して急速冷凍しています。 お刺身でお召し上がりいただくのはもちろん、マリネやバター焼きなど様々な料理でも美味しくお召し上がりいただけます。

  • 刺身用ほたて貝柱;
  • Lサイズ;
  • 1kgに約16〜21個。

    解凍方法:

    冷凍された状態のホタテは、冷蔵庫に移し半日ほどかけてゆっくりと解凍してください。ゆっくりと解凍したほうが旨み成分が流れ出ず美味しくいただけます。解凍を急ぐ場合はポリ袋に入れて口をしっかり閉じたまま流水に当てるか、直接塩水に浸します。電子レンジでの解凍は、ホタテの品質を大きく損ないますのでおすすめしません。また、真水に浸すと水っぽくなるので注意してください。



    ワンポイント:

    ほたての貝柱は切り方で違う美味しさをお楽しみいただけます。プリプリとした歯応えをお楽しみたい方は、貝柱の繊維に沿うように「たて切り」するのがお勧めです。逆に、繊維を断つように貝柱を「よこ切り」にすると柔らかい、とろりとした食感でお召し上がりいただけます。
