All products are delivered in Chilled or Frozen condition. We pack each item in premium Styrofoam boxes and ice packs. If you do with to return them to us just let our drivers know and they will collect them back from you at delivery.

Tuna, Chutoro (Medium Fatty Tuna 中トロ) Facts
Our top grade tuna is caught off the sea of Japan and is truly one of the best things Japan has to offer.
"Toro" is the fattier part of the tuna. "Chu-toro" is the medium fatty part of the tuna, next to the "Akami".
Our freshly caught melt in your mouth "Chu-toro" has a well marbled pinkish-white colour with a melt in your mouth texture.
- Texture: soft and melts in your mouth;
- Taste: sweet with good umami;
- Colour: pinkish-white with marbling;
- Weight: ~1kg up
- Recommended: sashimi to be consumed within 3 days.
Chutoro Tuna is best eaten with/as:
- sashimi;
- sushi, rolls, maki;
- kaisen don;
- seaweed; and
- aburi.
