Facts
Freshly and Sustainably hand caught off the coasts of Canada by our dedicated team of fishermen from down under!
Freshly caught Canada Uni has a bright beautiful Orange colour with firm texture and tastes like chestnuts. Canadian Uni is very much like Japanese and Australian uni, the main differences are that they are slightly bigger, creamier like Mursaki Uni but also light and sweet which are characteristic of Japanese Bafun Uni. The uni is 100% sashimi grade and can be used in both Sushi, Sashimi and Uni pastas.
How will my Uni taste?
A half box uni is more than enough to feed a group of 2-3, or 1 really big uni lover!
- Texture: Firm
- Taste: Sweet and creamy
- Colour: Bright Orange to Dark Orange
- Weight: 100g (Individually packed, 2-3 lobes per punnet)
- Storage: Should be stored in the fridge and eaten within 3 days
Bafun Uni is best eaten with/as:

- Pasta
- Risotto
- Eating it alone, or paired with a cup of sake works too!
