Description: Our Spanish Wild Tiger Prawns, Caramote prawns are caught sustainably off the costs of Spain and Morocco. Each prawn is quickly cleaned, hand packed and Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) on board the prawning vessel. This helps to maintain the utmost freshness and sashimi grade quality demanded by the top chefs around the world.
Taste: Each Wild Tiger prawn is packed full of umami. The taste is unmistakably different from other tiger prawns found elsewhere in the world. Its flesh is juicy, sweet and crunchy. The prawns when cooked have an extremely sweet aroma!
How to prepare: Defrost overnight or under running water for 30 minutes to 1 hour. The Wild Tiger Prawns are ready to cook right after defrosting, we would recommend steaming in sake or pan frying in garlic and white wine, Grilled on the BBQ with a pinch of Seasalt and even Battered and Fried!

Spanish Wild Tiger Prawn (Panaeus Kerathurus), caught in Moroccan or Spanish waters (FAO 34 Central-Eastern Atlantic and FAO 37.1 Mediterranean Sea) without the addition of any other ingredient, packed in cardboard box and packed in porexpan box, both for food use. The product is frozen on board in IQF format and stored at freezing temperatures, with different commercial presentations depending on size and available all year round.
