Premium Ayu in Oil (Canned)
Japanese Ayu or sweetfish are the most sought after fish in the Spring when they are most abundant, this premium quality Ayu can only be caught in lake Biwa Japan and are carefully cooked and canned in oil every year during the catching season. These Ko ayu or small sweetfish are extremely high quality and individually hand packed and canned in high quality oil.
The taste is rich and the oil is velvet and smooth. One bite of the ayu and you will be able to tell the difference in quality. This product is extremely good for gifts and pairs very well with sake and other alcoholic beverages.
