Beniotome Kuro Sesame Sochu
The Beniotome Kuro Sesame Shochu (Goma Shochu) is a unique on e of a kind Shochu, Beniotome is the first brewery to distil sochu from Black sesame. The combination of black sesame, barley as well as black rice koji, as well as three years of careful aging in steel tanks, make the taste of Beniotome Kuro so balanced, intense and exciting.
Kuro means black, Beniotome uses more than 20% roasted black sesame sourced from the rich sesame farms in Japan. Due to the fine sesame note, this Shochu goes particularly well with food, such as grilled or fried fish, roasted meat, but also with spicy dishes and strong desserts.
The Beniotome Kuro can be enjoyed straight or on the rocks, but also extended with soda. Due to its strong note it is the ideal ingredient for cocktails. With its 25% vol. it is very light and pleasant to drink.
