Saba is a delicacy in the Southern parts of Japan especially in many parts of Kyushu, Saba is mostly eaten during the winter because of its high fat content. Saba is extremely oily and rich in Omega 3, this gives it an amazing flavour and texture. Saba is best eaten BBQ or grilled. 

Season: 4月〜1月 April – January

  • Texture: Firm and Flakey
  • Taste: Oily and rich
  • Colour: Dark meat
  • Weight: 500g~800g
  • Per Box: 3-5kg (For a box of 5-8)
  • Recommended: To be eaten Sashimi, broiled, BBQ, grilled or Pan fried with skin crisped up
